Shipping policy

At The Sweet Invention, we carefully pack and ship your sweet treats using Australia Post to ensure they arrive safely and as quickly as possible.

Processing Time
All orders are packed and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Shipping Method
We ship all orders via Australia Post using standard or express postage options (depending on what you select at checkout). Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your delivery.

Estimated Delivery Times 
Delivery times are estimates provided by Australia Post and may vary depending on your location:
• Standard Post: 2–8 business days
• Express Post: 1–4 business days

Please note that delivery timeframes are not guaranteed and may be affected by peak periods, weather events, or other postal delays.

Shipping Areas
We currently ship Australia-wide.

Incorrect Address Information
Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. The Sweet Invention is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

Authority to Leave
By placing an order, you agree that your parcel may be left in a safe place if no one is available to receive it. The Sweet Invention is not responsible for lost or stolen parcels once marked as delivered by Australia Post.

Warm Weather & Perishable Items
As our products are confectionery, some items may be sensitive to heat. While we take care to package your order appropriately, The Sweet Invention cannot guarantee that products will not be affected by warm weather during transit and is not responsible for melting or heat-related damage.

Delays, Loss, or Damage
Once your parcel has been lodged with Australia Post, delivery is managed by their service. If you thesweetinventionco@gmail.com, and we will assist you in lodging an enquiry with Australia Post.
